SPECTRAL 60 is the aluminium system intended for realizations of elements of architectural external enclosure requiring thermal insulation, such as: various types of windows, doors, vestibules or showcases.
The system profiles have a three-chamber structure. The structural depth of the window sections is equal to 60 mm (frame) and 68 mm (casement), and for doors: 60 mm and 60 mm respectively. Such assumed depths of the casement and frame sections give the effect of one surface from the exterior side after closing - in the case of the window, and the facing effect to the surfaces of casement sand a frame - in the case of doors.
The thermal insulation of SPECTRAL 60 system is guaranteed, thanks to application of thermal breaks and the suitable gaskets. The thermal breaks are made of polyamide reinforced with fibreglass. The system also guarantees good acoustic insulation. The value of the Rw coefficient depends on the applied glass panel as well as on the type of the window or the door.
The tightness is ensured thanks to application of the special gaskets made of EPDM synthetic rubber, which guarantees ageing resistance during long-lasting exploitation. The glazing gaskets and the central gasket are cut at the angle of 45 degrees and are glued in the corners. The ventilation and draining openings are covered from the outside with caps made of plastics.
The system allows using sets of glass panels of the thickness from 16 mm to 41 mm. Such a wide range of the infill thickness guarantees application of all types of standard glass panels. The construction of SPECTRAL 60 system allows application of typical, according to the European standards, hardware, locks and hinges. Owing to that, it is possible to realize various wishes of our clients without changing the basic construction.
The profile joining is performed with minimum work, using the supplied aluminium joints and additional accessories. The L- type corner joining is made by cutting the profile ends of the frames or casements at the angle of 45 degrees, followed by bending and gluing them with the help of a two-component glue to the aluminium corners inserted into the inner chambers of the profiles. The T-type horizontal joining is made by twisting the lacings with inserted joints, using the glue. Application of the glue guarantees the rigidity and tightness of the joining.
The SPECTRAL 60 system obtained the Technical Approval ITB for windows and balcony doors (AT-15-3389/98).
